The Department of Chemistry encourages alumni to keep in touch with the department. If you have moved to a new address or if you have news you would like to share with fellow alumni, please fill out an Alumni Update Form.

We also have a LinkedIn group to encourage alumni, staff, faculty, and friends of the department to come together and work with each other to expand our networking strength. We hope that our alumni/ae continue to support our program through networking and fundraising opportunities as they may come available.

Fred M. Hawkridge Fund in Chemistry

Fred M. Hawkridge, Ph.D., Virginia Commonwealth University professor of chemistry and acting dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences, retired June 30 after 30 years of service.
